Job Title: Registered Nurse/ICU
Location: West Hollywood, CA
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 15 Weeks
Shift: Night | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: 4 days/week | 12 hours/day | 48 hours/week | 36 or 48 hours available

Pay Rate
Local: $60.00 - $64.00/hour
Traveler: $60.00 - $64.00/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced ICU RN to provide care to critically ill patients, including patients requiring PA line and Swan-Ganz monitoring.

Required Qualifications

  • Active California RN license at submission.
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
  • 400+ bed hospital experience required for first-time travelers.
  • BLS Certification.
  • ACLS Certification.
  • NIH Certification.
  • PA Line and Swan-Ganz experience mandatory.
  • Strong ICU and critical-care nursing experience.
  • Willingness to float to MS/Tele, PCU, Stepdown, Overflow, Overflow PACU, and other assigned units.
  • Flu vaccine required.
  • Must pass EKG exam on first day of orientation.
  • Weekend availability required.
  • Must work 3 of 5 designated holidays.
  • Maximum 7 days RTO; no RTO during first 2 weeks.
  • No scheduling requests can be accommodated.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive ICU nursing care.
  • Monitor complex and unstable patients.
  • Manage and monitor PA lines and Swan-Ganz catheters.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies.
  • Monitor hemodynamic parameters.
  • Operate specialized ICU equipment and life-support systems.
  • Respond to clinical deterioration and emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Float to MS/Tele, PCU, Stepdown, Overflow, and Overflow PACU as required.
  • Adapt care to different patient populations.
  • Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital standards.
  • Complete orientation and EKG requirements.
