The Crawfish Hut, a vibrant Boiling Seafood restaurant and bar located in Stanton, CA, is seeking dedicated Food Servers to join our team. Our mission is to provide friendly, responsive service that creates exceptional dining experiences, ensuring guests feel welcome and eager to return. As a Food Server, you will play a crucial role in engaging with guests, demonstrating menu knowledge, and delivering prompt, courteous service within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit
- Inform guests of specials, menu changes, and answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services
- Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Deliver food and beverages promptly from kitchen and bar to guests
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after shifts
- Handle payment processing, including cash and credit card transactions, and prepare final bills
- Assist fellow servers and bus-person with clearing and resetting tables as needed
- Follow directions from restaurant management and fulfill additional duties to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of restaurant or food service experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong customer service skills with clear communication
- Basic math ability for handling payments
- Ability to multitask and manage stress effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills, adaptability, and teamwork orientation
This role reports directly to the restaurant manager and will also coordinate with shift supervisors and floor managers as part of an individual and team server structure. This position does not require travel and provides growth opportunities such as promotions to senior server or management roles, along with performance bonuses and rewards.
