Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California is required
  • School-based SLP experience is strongly preferred
  • In-depth understanding of IEP documentation and best practices in speech therapy for diverse student populations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, student-focused setting

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K-12 students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Complete assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and document progress using school-based reporting systems
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, parents, and other support staff to ensure optimal student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and data-driven planning
  • Facilitate a supportive, inclusive learning environment for all assigned students
