Key Qualifications:
- Valid California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential (active)
- Experience with data collection, conducting formal assessments, and writing IEPs
- Comfortable attending and participating in meetings as needed
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Background in supporting early elementary (TK-2) students preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to TK-2 students
- Collect and manage student progress data to inform instruction
- Conduct formal evaluations and complete assessments
- Develop and write compliant and student-centered IEPs
- Participate in IEP and team meetings to coordinate student plans
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
