Job Summary:
Oakwood Interstate Insurance Services is seeking an experienced Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance Broker to join our Folsom office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a large, established book of commercial insurance accounts, overseeing renewals, and maintaining strong client and carrier relationships.

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can independently manage a high volume of accounts, prioritize deadlines, and deliver excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage a large book of commercial P&C accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and ongoing servicing.
Oversee the full renewal process, including reviewing existing coverage, obtaining updated underwriting information, marketing accounts, negotiating terms, and presenting renewal options.
Work directly with carriers and wholesalers to secure competitive pricing and comprehensive coverage.
Review policies, quotes, endorsements, and coverage terms for accuracy.
Identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
Handle client inquiries, policy changes, certificates of insurance, and other servicing requests.
Maintain accurate client records, policy documentation, and renewal activities in the agency management system.
Proactively monitor renewal deadlines and ensure timely processing and binding of coverage.
Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of commercial P&C insurance experience.
Active CA Property & Casualty insurance license.
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including General Liability, Property, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, Umbrella/Excess, and Professional Liability.
Proven experience independently managing a substantial commercial book of business.
Strong understanding of commercial insurance underwriting, policy forms, and coverage requirements.
Experience with AMS360 or similar agency management systems preferred.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
