Electrical Wiring Harness Architect (Zuken E3 Specialist)
Manufacturing
Job Description
Job DescriptionLead the Architecture of High-Volume Electrical Harnesses
Step into a role where you are the resident Zuken expert guiding end-to-end wiring harness and supporting PCBA design for products built at scale. You will translate requirements into manufacturable schematics, layouts, and complete build packages while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, mass-produced hardware.
A Day in the Life
- Transform product requirements into detailed harness schematics, 2D layouts, pinout tables, and assembly drawings using Zuken.
- Define wire gauges, shielding, grounding strategies, and connector interfaces with an eye toward electrical integrity and environmental needs.
- Develop and maintain PCBA schematics and layouts that interface cleanly with the harness architecture.
- Generate manufacturing-ready documentation and BOMs that enable smooth, high-yield production.
- Select components and connectors based on electrical, mechanical, environmental, and factory constraints.
- Champion reliability, manufacturability, and certification-readiness in every design decision.
- Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, test, and quality teams to de-risk builds and scale to volume.
What You’ll Own
- End-to-end electrical wire harness design for high-volume production.
- Schematic creation, harness layout, and assembly documentation in Zuken.
- PCBA schematic and layout development aligned to harness interfaces.
