About the Opportunity
HiredFirst is seeking a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a dynamic outpatient orthopedic clinic in Santa Monica, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced PTAs and new graduates who are eager to build their clinical skills in a supportive, patient-focused environment.
The ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life through personalized therapy programs.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for orthopedic patients

Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional mobility activities

Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist

Provide education to patients on exercises, injury prevention, and recovery strategies

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in compliance with clinic standards

Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment
Qualifications:

Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Active or eligible California PTA license
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

Passion for patient care and rehabilitation
