Job Summary

Haeseong Integrative Medicine Center is looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Bilingual Front Office & Patient Coordinator to join our medical office in Koreatown, Los Angeles.

\n

Fluency in both Korean and English is REQUIRED. We serve both Korean-speaking and English-speaking patients, so the ability to communicate comfortably and professionally in both languages is essential.

\n

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling. Employees work a full day on their scheduled workdays.

\n


\n

Pay: $18–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

\n


\n

Responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • Greet and assist patients in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
  • \n

  • Communicate with patients in both Korean and English
  • \n

  • Schedule and manage patient appointments
  • \n

  • Coordinate and adjust daily schedules
  • \n

  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
  • \n

  • Communicate with insurance companies as needed
  • \n

  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient messages and inquiries
  • \n

  • Maintain accurate patient and front-office records
  • \n

  • Assist with general front-office duties and daily clinic operations
  • \n

  • Provide excellent customer service and a positive experience for every patient
  • \n

Skills & Qualifications:

\n

    \n
  • Fluent in Korean and English – REQUIRED
  • \n

  • Strong verbal communication skills in both Korean and English
  • \n

  • Comfortable communicating with both Korean-speaking and English-speaking patients
  • \n

  • Basic computer skills and ability to use Windows-based computer systems
  • \n

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and common computer applications
  • \n

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • \n

  • Responsible, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • \n

  • Friendly and professional attitude
  • \n

  • Strong customer service skills
  • \n

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • \n

Preferred:

  • Previous front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience
  • \n

  • Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
  • \n

  • Familiarity with medical terminology or insurance-related tasks
  • \n

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • \n

Schedule:

\n

    \n
  • Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
  • \n

  • Saturday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
  • \n

\n

Part-time employees work a full day on their scheduled workdays. Workdays are flexible and can be discussed based on availability and clinic needs.
