Spindle is partnering with an outstanding school district in Lancaster, seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year.

ROLE OVERVIEW
You'll support students with learning disabilities, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges by building and carrying out individualized IEPs. This includes adapting instruction to different learning styles and providing consistent, structured support.
You'll collaborate closely with families, general education teachers, and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. A variety of teaching strategies, assistive technology, and adaptive tools are available to help students stay engaged and make meaningful progress.
You'll cover a caseload of 28 elementary and middle school students in an itinerant RSP role. This role is covering a medical leave beginning August 18th, 2026 and lasting at least eight weeks.


QUALIFICATIONS
California CTC credential with Mild/Moderate Special Education certification
Previous experience in a Special Education teaching role
Proven ability to develop and implement IEPs

PAY & BENEFITS
Hourly rate: $45–50, dependent on experience
Weekly W-2 pay
