The Clinical Nurse (CN) role offers a dynamic opportunity for registered nurses to provide hands-on care to patients in a progressive care unit (PCU) setting. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid CA-RN license.
- Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a progressive care unit or similar clinical setting.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring other nursing staff.
- Familiarity with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a healing environment for patients and families.
- Assess and interpret patient data to determine nursing diagnoses.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans.
- Teach patients and families the knowledge and skills needed for self-care and illness prevention.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and patient responses.
- Contribute to team building and positive morale in the unit.
- Utilize technology for communication and documentation purposes.
