Structural Engineer – Residential Architecture Los Angeles, CA 90035
Part-Time (3–4 Days/Week) Full time will be considered
$70,000–$110,000 depending on experience and hours)

Are you a structural engineer with a passion for thoughtful residential design? We’re a boutique architecture firm based in Los Angeles (90035) looking for a part-time Structural Engineer to support our growing portfolio of multifamily housing and ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) projects.

You’ll work hands-on with our design team to bring smart, efficient housing solutions to life—balancing creative vision with code-compliant structural systems.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with architects on multifamily and ADU projects
Produce structural calculations, drawings, and details
Ensure compliance with local codes, zoning, and permit requirements
Perform site visits and inspections as needed
Provide input on constructability, material selection, and cost-effective solutions

Requirements:

Licensed PE in California (preferred, or in progress)
5+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on residential or multifamily construction Type V
Proficient in structural software (e.g., RISA, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit)
Clear communication and ability to work independently
Must be able to work on-site in the 90035 area

Schedule & Compensation:

3–5 days per week (flexible schedule)
$70,000–$110,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
No benefits provided
