Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a licensed Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a 340B pharmacy facility. The position requires onsite presence in Riverside, CA, offering a dynamic environment to apply your pharmacy leadership skills within a well-established program.

Location: Onsite - Riverside, CA
Setting: 340B Pharmacy
Duration: 3-6 Months contract
Schedule:

  • Days
  • Afternoons

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing daily pharmacy operations
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and policy requirements specific to the 340B program
  • Manage pharmacy staff and workflow to maintain high-quality patient care and service
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as necessary for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication use and patient outcomes

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current pharmacist license in one or more of the following states preferred: AK, AL, AR, CA, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, OR, TN, TX, VA, WV
  • Proven experience in pharmacy leadership or PIC role, preferably in 340B or similar pharmacy settings
  • Knowledge of 340B program compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage operations and staff
