We are seeking Program Aide's to join our team in Barstow, Hesperia and Apple Valley. Under the direct supervision of Lead Program Aide, you would interact, provide toileting assistance (as needed), follow assigned educational curriculum for the disabled adult program, participate in outings and community events.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Implement activities as scheduled.
- Instruct clients in the performance of work, life skills, job skills training and interpersonal skills development.
- Maintain accurate daily documentation and reports.
- Assist clients in toileting and menstrual and other care as needed.
- Attend training and meetings as scheduled.
- Assist in creative, positive environment.
- Assist in client medical emergencies.
- Make sure that staff maintains a professional, positive work environment.
- Completes all documentation as required.
- Follows all safety procedures
- Attendance and punctuality.
- Stay in assigned workstation, area, or room.
- Take duty-free breaks & lunches, as scheduled.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma, basic computer skills, read & write in English
- Pre-Employment Requirements:
- FBI/DOJ Background check, Non-DOT Physical, TB & Drug Screening (Drug Free Site)
