Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CF) – School-Based

Location: Palm Springs, CA
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract (School Year)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow) to join a supportive school district in Palm Springs, CA. This role focuses on providing speech and language services to students, helping them succeed academically and socially through individualized therapy and collaboration with school teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students (K–12)
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility and service needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
  • Support students with a variety of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatics

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP-CCC or SLP-CF status
  • Valid California Teaching Credential (required)
  • California SLP license (or eligibility) preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • School-based experience preferred, but not required
