A lovely family in West LA is seeking a nurturing and reliable temporary full-time nanny to join their household starting in February. They have two children, a 4-year-old and a 6-month-old. The primary focus will be on caring for their infant, with occasional support for the preschooler during school closures.
- Start date: February 22
- End date: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:45pm & Occasional Fridays half day (9am-12pm, but can vary based on parents work schedule)
- Compensation: $25- $27 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care for the baby
- Diaper changes and bottle feeding (warming breast milk as needed), starting solids (baby led weaning)
- Maintain a daily log of feedings, naps, and diaper changes
- Encourage developmental milestones through age-appropriate play (reading, tummy time, sensory activities, walks, etc.)
- Put baby down for naps and manage her routine
- Light tidying/housekeeping, help with meal prep and child-related laundry
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid professional infant care experience
- CPR certified, or willingness to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
- Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and valid auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle
CompensationThis position pays $25-27 per hour
