Responsibilities
- Observe, evaluate, and coordinate patient care in the special procedures context, following organizational policies and mission.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, develop a care plan, implement interventions, coordinate delivery, and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
- Connect electrocardiogram (EKG) leads, monitor EKG and hemodynamic parameters, and report any changes to the physician; document findings.
- Operate specialized equipment and systems used in interventional procedures; document significant data and findings for patients across age groups.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures, ensuring safety and reporting changes in condition to the physician and team.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver direct and indirect care, promoting health and a safe environment within the setting.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California (state of practice) or current state of practice as required by assignment
- ACLS certification: Required
- BLS certification: Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
- Advanced EKG certification: Preferred
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent RN experience in relevant field (critical care, medical-surgical, or cardiac cath lab/spec ial procedures) and current nursing license per state of assignment
- Ability to work in a home healthcare – hospice setting and in a role supporting interventional radiology procedures
