Responsibilities
- Perform, assist with, and complete Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations.
- Conduct active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using advanced equipment.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients for examinations; perform specialized studies.
- Deliver clinical care efficiently with high technical and organizational skills; apply critical thinking in procedure execution.
- Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills to maintain high-quality practice.
Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist credential suitable for practice in the United States
- Experience or familiarity with interventional radiology procedures in a cardiovascular lab preferred
- Ability to operate digital imaging equipment and assist in interventional procedures
- Strong patient care, positioning, safety, and infection control practices
- Ability to work in a dynamic cardiovascular lab environment and participate in a travel assignment
