About the Opportunity
\n
Addison Group is partnering with a national organization seeking an experienced Field HR Generalist to provide fully onsite HR support within a busy Fresno distribution center.
\n
This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys being a hands-on resource for employees and managers and has experience supporting employee relations, benefits, leave administration, wage-and-hour compliance, payroll-related matters, safety, and general HR operations.
\n
The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced onsite environment, handling confidential employee matters, and partnering with both employees and management to provide timely and solutions-focused HR support.

Responsibilities
\n

- Provide day-to-day HR support to distribution center employees and management.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, leaves, compensation, payroll, and general HR processes.
- Counsel managers and assist with employee relations matters and conflict resolution.
- Support compliance with federal and California employment laws, including wage-and-hour requirements.
- Assist with leave administration, employee documentation, personnel files, and HR recordkeeping.
- Support timekeeping processes and respond to routine time and attendance questions.
- Assist with workplace safety initiatives and related documentation.
- Complete HR data entry, filing, typing, word processing, and other administrative responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee information and personnel records.
- Provide timely, professional, and solutions-focused service to employees and internal partners.
- Manage multiple priorities while supporting the day-to-day needs of a high-volume distribution environment.

Qualifications
\n
- \n
- 3–5 years of Human Resources experience.
- Strong HR Generalist experience with exposure to employee relations, benefits, leaves, payroll, wage-and-hour compliance, and safety.
- Working knowledge of California employment laws and HR practices.
- Distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of employee relations and ability to effectively handle workplace concerns and conflicts.
- Experience supporting timekeeping and time & attendance processes.
- Strong communication, critical-thinking, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential employee information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- HR certification is a plus.
- Reflexis experience is a plus.
- Must be available to begin quickly and work 100% onsite in Fresno, CA.
