Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to perform both front and back office duties under the direction of a physician. Responsibilities include assisting in patient examinations, conducting diagnostic tests, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Obtain medical history and vital signs from patients
- Perform diagnostic procedures accurately and efficiently
- Collect and prepare lab specimens for analysis
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office
- Assist in translation for non-English speaking patients
- Complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and data entry
Administrative Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Review and edit reports for accuracy
- Retrieve and scan diagnostic tests
- Ensure timely submission of reports
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and providers
Competencies:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Understanding of medical policies and procedures
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a medical setting preferred
- Medical Assistant education required
- CPR certification preferred
- Phlebotomy experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
- Valid California Driver’s License and own transportation required
Typical Working Conditions:
- Normal office environment with occasional early morning, evening, or weekend shifts
- May come in contact with hazardous materials
- Moderate noise level during busy clinic days
Typical Physical Demands:
- Requires sitting, standing, or walking for up to eight hours a day
- Occasional bending, stretching, or lifting up to 40 pounds
