What You'll Be Doing
- Build, assemble, and modify robotic systems, robot arms, fixtures, sensors, cameras, and lab equipment.
- Install, route, and test cable harnesses while ensuring safe and reliable system operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hardware issues alongside engineering teams.
- Support equipment setup, hardware integration, testing, and lab expansion projects.
- Read schematics, technical drawings, and build instructions to complete projects accurately.
- Help create and maintain an organized, safe, and efficient robotics lab environment.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on technician experience in robotics, automation, electronics, aerospace, medical devices, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or a related field.
- Experience with mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, cabling, or hardware integration.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, crimpers, multimeters, calipers, soldering equipment, and other technical tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for building and fixing things.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same.
Bonus Experience
- Robotics, automation, machine building, or lab equipment
- Cable harness fabrication and connector work
- Soldering, crimping, or low-voltage wiring
- PLCs, CAD, 3D printing, or fixture design
- Startup, R&D, or prototype environments
