Job DescriptionAbout the Role:CALGRIF INC, dba, Franchise Freeway Insurance is looking for a motivated and licensed Insurance Agent to join our growing team in Long Beach, CA. Responsibilities:
- Prospect, develop, and manage a book of business through new client acquisition and referrals
- Consult with clients to assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
- Sell and service policies
- Process policy applications, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and efficiently
- Maintain up-to-date client records and documentation in the agency management system
- Follow up on leads, quotes, and policy renewals to maximize retention and sales
- Stay current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations
Requirements:
- Active California Department of Insurance (CDI) license required
- Prior experience in insurance sales or a related financial services role preferred but not a requirement
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Proficiency with agency management software and basic computer applications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree a plus
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
