An opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical services within a 50-bed rehabilitation hospital. This full-time role focuses on supporting patient care by ensuring accurate medication dispensing and oversight in a specialized hospital setting. The position offers a Monday through Friday day-shift schedule, providing a predictable workweek and a balanced professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and approve medication orders with precision to ensure patient safety
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
- Perform pharmacokinetic assessments and contribute to individualized patient medication plans
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize therapeutic outcomes
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current pharmacist license in California is required
- Proven hospital pharmacy experience, preferably within rehab or similar acute care settings
