Westlake Village boutique public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join the team. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and close processes, conducting internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation. Will also assist with income tax preparation for individuals, corporations and partnerships as well as preparing payroll and sales tax returns.
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm OR 9:00am-6:00pm
$70,000-$75,000/year + Benefits
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in public accounting
- Proficient in Lacerte and QuickBooks software
- Experience with income tax preparation and resolving tax problems
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills
