- Teach/tutor in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
- Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
- Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
- Support various administrative tasks and projects around the center
- Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
Required Qualifications:
- Passion for and great working with kids -- fun, patience, encouragement, empathy
- Team player
- Driven & motivated; desire to lean in and grow within the organization; interest in taking on new projects; seeking promotion to Lead Instructor, Assistant Center Director, and beyond
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Positive attitude; we are looking for outgoing "people people" who value positivity and fun!
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfort speaking with students and parents
- Desire and ability to teach
- Hours availability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching experience
- Passion for math
- Strong math competency through at least Algebra I
