Job DescriptionOverview
Cardiovascular Technologist – Cath Lab Technologist position in Saint Helena, California, starting 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range is $2,699 to $2,863 per week with 36 guaranteed hours on a 5x8 day shift in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting as a travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests; operate related imaging and physiological equipment
- Scrub, monitor, and assist with catheter-based procedures; manage simple troubleshooting and equipment adjustments as needed
- Operate C-Arm, angiographic injectors, and associated patient monitoring equipment; ensure proper sterile technique and aseptic practices
- Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures; provide radiation safety through appropriate shielding, collimation, and immobilization
- Maintain, clean, and document results of equipment and procedures; report malfunctions and perform preventive maintenance as appropriate
- Support complex procedures and patients requiring advanced capabilities (e.g., structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, impella, ECMO, and emergent cath cases); assist with administration of opaque media when indicated
- Document care and procedures in the EPIC system and collaborate with the interventional team to ensure continuity of care

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography) required; Radiologic Tech license in the practicing state (CA/HI) required
- Licenses/Certifications: Current fluoroscopy license required in CA within 6 months of hire; Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR from an approved vendor required
- Education: Associate degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred
- Experience: One year catheterization experience preferred; EPIC experience preferred
- Additional: Ability to work in a fast-paced cath lab environment and participate in travel assignment requirements
