Job DescriptionAbout the Role:RDL Construction Inc is looking for an experienced and driven Superintendent to lead field operations on exciting construction projects in San Jose, CA. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and labor crews to maintain efficient daily field operations
- Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety protocols
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure accurate project execution
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks throughout all phases of construction
- Communicate project progress, issues, and updates to project managers and stakeholders
- Resolve on-site conflicts, delays, and technical challenges in a timely and effective manner
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar field leadership role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously
- OSHA 30 certification preferred; commitment to jobsite safety is a must
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
