Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare facility near Clovis, CA is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician for a short-term contract opportunity, estimated to last 4-6 weeks. Candidates will primarily work in a retail/community pharmacy setting within a health center environment, performing essential technician duties with accuracy and professionalism.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients
- Manage prescription orders and input accurate information into the Rx30 system
- Provide excellent patient service in a retail pharmacy setting
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations
- Ensure timely and reliable attendance, adhering to a strict no-late/no-call-out policy
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- At least 1 year of recent retail pharmacy technician experience required
- Must hold a current California Pharmacy Technician license; PTCB certification preferred
- Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy system is essential
- Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred and may receive preferential consideration
- Reliable with strong work ethic and punctuality is a must, reflecting the expectations of experienced leadership
Location:
- The position is based near Clovis, CA
- Candidate should expect a daily commute of approximately 15-20 minutes from Fresno to Sanger
This short-term assignment offers an excellent chance to contribute to patient care in a dynamic retail health center setting. Candidates who speak Spanish may also have the opportunity to convert into a longer-term role.
