We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential daily support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. - Location: San Dimas, CA and Claremont, CA
- Pay Range: $19.00 per hour
Available Shifts
- Friday – Monday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Morning)
- Friday – Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Afternoon/Evening)
- Friday – Monday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Overnight)
- Tuesday – Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Afternoon/Evening) [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily Living Support: Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Skill Development: Teach and reinforce independent life skills, including budgeting, cooking, and household chores.
- Community Integration: Accompany and transport clients to social events, recreational activities, and medical appointments.
- Health & Safety: Monitor overall health, safety, and well-being.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely daily logs regarding client behaviors, goal progress, and medical charts.
Position Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Age: Must be 18 years of age or older (21+ if driving company vehicles).
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certifications through American Heart Association, or willingness to obtain them during onboarding.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a mandatory criminal background check through Livescan fingerprinting.
- Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
