Clients are seeking a highly skilled private Cook/Chef for a family in Silicone Valley. The couple is seeking clean global cuisine with an emphasis on healthy Asian cuisine, consistently prepared high-end restaurant-quality meals with exceptional taste and presentation utilizing a global approach and fresh, organic, high-quality ingredients.
The ideal candidate will have a good international repertoire of simple refined cooking, and knowledge of Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese, as well as fresh Mediterranean and Italian cuisine and the ability to cook special diets as needed.
The ideal schedule would be full time to support the existing Chef, Sunday and another week day will be required to cover the Chefs days off.
The daily duties will also include shopping, inventory and restocking, keeping the kitchen highly organized and in an extremely clean state. Wash dishes and kitchen equipment and tools and thoroughly and clean food preparation areas daily.
