October 6 Start Date. LVN with 1 year experience (required) to cover Med Onc Clinic; 1st time travelers OK; 5x8s, 0800-1630; M-F, no weekends; occasional float may be required to Simi Valley location. NP and Oncologist in-house; Phlebotomy support.
Scrubs required (not provided): Grape
Certs Required: BLS (AHA), IV Cert for LVNs
Experience/skills Required:
EPIC charting; outpatient/urgent care clinic experience; IM & SQ; Oral med administration; Subcutaneous med administration; Central line blood draw; Central line dressing change; IV pumps; Monitor Blood Product Administration; Phlebotomy; Starting IVs
Experience/skills Preferred:
Colostomy care; Obtain/Instruct clean catch urine; Symptom Management: Ascites, Constipation/Diarrhea; Nausea/vomiting; Patient/Family education and support; Goal setting with patient/family; Medical Oncology; Surgical Oncology; Nasal Cannula; Wound Care/Wound Vac; Wound drains/JP/Hemovac; Communication of patient status changes to RN/MD; Pain Assessment Management; Telephone Triage; Vaccine Administration; Vital Sign monitoring
