Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues to aid diagnosis.
- Perform a range of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Position patients and adjust imaging parameters to optimize image quality while applying radiation safety principles.
- Collaborate with radiology team and interpreting physicians; document procedures and image findings per protocol.
- Maintain infection control, patient comfort, and safety throughout imaging workflows.
Requirements
- Ability to operate CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy equipment per departmental protocols.
- Availability for evenings, 8-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week, for a 13-week assignment.
- Willingness to travel to and work in Lodi, California for the duration of the contract.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills applicable to a hospital imaging environment.
