Position Summary\n
The Junior Financial Analyst will work closely with company leadership, program managers, and accounting personnel to maintain financial visibility across multiple projects and contracts. This role is responsible for financial reporting, data analysis, reconciliation activities, and maintenance of the company's internal project financial tracking systems.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, proficient in Excel, and enjoys working with large datasets to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and support informed business decisions.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis & Reporting\n

- Analyze project financial performance, funding status, labor utilization, and spending trends.
- Prepare recurring financial and operational reports for management review.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis efforts.
- Develop financial summaries and ad hoc reports for leadership and program managers.
- Monitor project metrics and identify areas requiring management attention.

Financial Data Management\n

- Maintain the company's project financial tracking database.
- Import, validate, and reconcile financial data from Costpoint reports, Ramp, and other business systems.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of project financial records.
- Research and resolve discrepancies between systems and reports.
- Maintain documentation supporting financial reporting and audit readiness.

Project Financial Support\n

- Support Program Managers with project financial tracking and performance monitoring.
- Track labor, material, travel, subcontract, and other project expenditures.
- Monitor project spending against available funding.
- Assist with project startup, funding modifications, and closeout activities.
- Support financial reviews and management reporting cycles.

Process Improvement\n

- Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and visibility.
- Assist in developing dashboards, automated reports, and management tools.
- Participate in initiatives to modernize financial and operational processes.

Required Qualifications\n

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, business analysis, project controls, or related fields.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications\n
