Experienced Journeyman Roofer

Full-Time | Experienced Roofer
Triark Roofing is looking for an experienced, dependable Journeyman Roofer to join our growing team. We are seeking skilled roofers who take pride in their work, understand proper roofing installation practices, and can perform quality work with minimal supervision.
Candidates should have journeyman-level experience in at least one of the following roofing systems. Experience in two or all three is highly valued:
- Asphalt shingle roofing
- Concrete tile roofing
- Low-slope roofing systems
You do not need to be a journeyman in all three roofing systems to apply. We are interested in experienced roofers who have developed strong skills in one or more roofing specialties and are interested in continuing to expand their knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace residential and commercial roofing systems
- Perform tear-offs and prepare roof decks for installation
- Properly install underlayments, flashings, roofing materials, and accessories
- Identify roofing problems and complete repairs using proper installation methods
- Safely use roofing tools, ladders, fall-protection equipment, and jobsite equipment
- Follow Triark Roofing installation standards and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
- Work productively as part of a roofing crew
- Complete assigned work with minimal supervision based on experience level
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Professional roofing experience required
- Journeyman-level experience in asphalt shingles, concrete tile, low-slope roofing, or a combination of these systems
- Ability to perform roofing work independently within your area of experience
- Knowledge of proper flashing, underlayment, waterproofing, and roofing installation practices
- Comfortable working at heights and on various roof pitches
- Able to perform the physical requirements of roofing work
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well with a crew
- Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship
Additional Experience We Value
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- Roof repairs and leak diagnosis
- TPO and other low-slope membrane systems
- Roof flashing and sheet-metal work
- Wood and dry-rot repairs
- Roof sheathing replacement
- Fascia, barge rafter, and rafter-tail repairs
- Skylight and roof penetration flashing
- Attic ventilation
- Steep-slope roofing and fall-protection systems

Compensation
Competitive hourly pay based on roofing experience, skill level, and the number of roofing systems in which the applicant is proficient.
Higher compensation is available for experienced roofers who can independently work across multiple roofing systems.
