Job DescriptionAbout the Role
This is a founding engineering role at an early-stage B2B SaaS company building a headcount planning platform for enterprise teams. You'll work directly with founders and early customers to shape the product from the ground up — owning everything from technical design to production deployment.
What You'll Do

Ship and iterate quickly while making thoughtful trade-offs between speed and quality.

Collaborate with founders to design solutions that directly address customer problems.

Interact with customers to diagnose and resolve product issues firsthand.

Own large areas of the product end-to-end, from technical design through to production.

Wear multiple hats across engineering, product, and customer support as needed.
What We're Looking For

3+ years of software engineering experience building products at VC-backed startups, as a founding engineer, or owning zero-to-one projects at a larger company.

Strong proficiency in TypeScript; ability to quickly learn and adapt to new stacks.

Demonstrated expertise in systems design and data modeling.

Strong computer science fundamentals; degree in CS or Engineering preferred.

Experience in B2B software, particularly in HR or Finance domains, is a plus.

Proven ability to take initiative — e.g. delivering projects outside a set roadmap or building impressive side projects.

Product and user empathy — thinking beyond the code to how users interact with data.

Experience working with customers or cross-functional teams to shape product decisions.

Comfortable working in small, fast-moving teams and wearing multiple hats.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location
On-site in Los Angeles, CA. This role is not remote.
