Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Prior experience in school settings is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy to students with a variety of speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each student’s success
  • Document progress and maintain records in accordance with school and professional requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations tailored to each child’s needs
  • Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Provide resources and strategies to staff and parents to reinforce communication goals
