This contract role begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year. As part of this collaborative environment, you’ll focus on delivering intervention and therapeutic support tailored to student needs, all while working closely with an experienced SLP who appreciates your expertise and enthusiasm.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification.
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational documentation is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language therapy activities designed by the supervising SLP.
- Assist with progress monitoring, data collection, and preparing therapy materials.
- Support students in both individual and small group settings.
- Communicate student progress and observations clearly to the SLP and educational staff.
