Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Hours: Full-time
Location: El Cajon, CA
Pay Range: $30 - $35
The Warehouse Supervisor at Markful will partner with the operations team to maximize productivity and efficiency in the warehouse and on the production floor. The Warehouse Supervisor will support the production team by following processes and procedures that help the team meet daily production goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for Receiving Warehouse Inventory. This includes loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, inspecting, validating quantities for all warehouse items.
- Manage Inventory for all warehouse items according the 6S principles and Lean Manufacturing.
- Collaborates with Purchasing Agents to receive and distribute all incoming items to their appropriate workstation or pallet rack.
- Picking, wrapping, restocking, and transporting materials within the facility. Ensures that all workstations have items necessary for production to keep moving forward.
- Additional Daily Responsibilities Include – Managing trash, keeping aisles clear of all tripping hazards, stocking bathrooms and kitchens, paper towels, and cleaning supplies.
- Understand each material’s usage and the condition that it is expected to be in when it arrives.
- Quality Assurance duties, including reporting damage, shortages, and maintenance needs.
- Rotate stock (FIFO – First In First Out) so that the oldest items are shipped or sold first.
- Manage a team of warehouse clerks
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3 or more years experience working in a warehouse with inventory management
- An understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and process automation
- Proficiency with Excel with the ability to learn inventory software systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to read and interpret order specifications and make judgment calls under time constraints
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- A team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to operate a computer, specifically shipping software, and must have the capacity to learn technical concepts related to the preparation of shipping labels, and the operation of our internal company intranet.
