Key Responsibilities\n

- Assist with the preparation and processing of regular payroll cycles.
- Review employee timekeeping, attendance, compensation, deductions, and payroll-related information for accuracy.
- Enter and maintain payroll data in payroll and HR systems.
- Assist with employee onboarding, status changes, compensation updates, and payroll adjustments.
- Research and resolve routine payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and employee records.
- Assist with payroll reports, reconciliations, and payroll-related documentation.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other internal teams regarding payroll information.
- Support the processing of payroll deductions, benefits, taxes, and other payroll-related items.
- Help ensure payroll activities follow company policies and applicable federal and state requirements.
- Review payroll data for inconsistencies and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Assist with audits and requests for payroll documentation.
- Maintain organized records and follow established payroll procedures.
- Perform other payroll and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications\n

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is a plus.
- 0–2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, finance, HR administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Basic understanding of payroll and accounting principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications\n

- Previous experience with payroll processing or payroll administration.
- Familiarity with payroll or HRIS platforms.

- Familiarity with payroll reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Experience with ADP, Workday, Paychex, UKG, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software is beneficial.
