What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Supervise the microbiology section of the laboratory
- Perform and oversee technical procedures and Quality Control
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards (CLIA/CAP)
- Support accurate specimen handling and reporting integrity
- Lead with accountability, precision, and a strong quality mindset
What We’re Looking For
- Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License (Required)
- Strong experience in Clinical Microbiology laboratory operations
- Hands-on expertise in Quality Control, instrumentation, and lab procedures
- Knowledge of laboratory regulatory and quality systems (CLIA/CAP)
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- ASCP certification preferred
