Baifu International Trading Company is looking for a dependable, organized, and hardworking Warehouse Associate to assist with day-to-day warehouse operations. This position involves receiving, organizing, picking, packing, and preparing inventory while ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, can follow purchase orders and inventory documents carefully, and is able to perform physical warehouse work throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Organize, stock, and maintain inventory throughout the warehouse
- Read and understand purchase orders, packing lists, and order documents
- Accurately locate and pick the correct items and quantities for customer orders
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment or customer delivery
- Verify picked inventory to help prevent incorrect items or quantities from being shipped
- Assist with receiving incoming inventory and placing merchandise in the appropriate warehouse locations
- Assist with loading and unloading containers and trucks
- Unpack, sort, count, and organize merchandise received from containers
- Safely lift, move, and handle heavy boxes and merchandise
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Assist with inventory counts and general inventory organization
- Help load company vehicles and, when needed, assist with deliveries to customers
- Complete warehouse tasks accurately and within expected timelines
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to read and accurately follow purchase orders, packing lists, and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail, especially when picking quantities and item numbers
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy boxes
- Able to work as part of a team during container unloading, receiving, and large orders
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Previous warehouse, inventory, order-picking, shipping/receiving, or delivery experience is preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred for employees assisting with deliveries
Physical Requirements
This is an active warehouse position that requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and moving merchandise. Employees must be comfortable handling boxes and inventory of varying sizes and weights and assisting with the loading and unloading of containers.
