Job Description
Territory Sales Manager\n
Fresno County | Smokin Burrow Rodent Control, Inc.
\n
\n
Smokin Burrow Rodent Control, Inc. is building a new standard for agricultural service through innovation, professionalism, operational excellence, and extraordinary customer commitment.
\n
We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused Territory Sales Manager with an area of focus around Fresno County. This role is not limited to that territory; as relationships and opportunities develop, the Territory Sales Manager may support customers and growth opportunities beyond this county.
\n
This is an opportunity for someone motivated by building relationships, solving real customer problems, creating new business, and being rewarded directly for the results they produce.
\n
This is not a sit-behind-the-desk sales role. You will be in the field with growers, ranch managers, and agricultural decision-makers—learning their operation, identifying rodent-control needs, building treatment plans, and earning long-term customer trust.
The Opportunity\n
You will own the customer relationship from first contact through quoting, scheduling coordination, job communication, renewal, and ongoing account growth. You will work closely with Sales Support, Dispatch, Field Operations, and leadership to make sure every promise made to a customer can be delivered at a high level.
\n
You will be responsible for growing a defined area of focus, developing new accounts, protecting existing relationships, and helping Smokin Burrow become the trusted rodent-control partner for agricultural operations throughout the Central Valley.
Key Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of agricultural customers, with an area of focus in Fresno County through Merced County.
- Prospect, cold call, visit properties, and develop relationships with growers, ranch managers, farm managers, and agricultural decision-makers.
- Conduct field inspections and identify rodent pressure, treatment needs, field conditions, and customer priorities.
- Prepare and present accurate, professional quotes and treatment recommendations.
- Own the sales process from initial contact through signed agreement, job readiness, customer communication, and renewal.
- Coordinate closely with Operations and Dispatch so sold work is properly scoped, scheduled, and completed to company standards.
- Maintain detailed customer records, activity notes, pricing, property information, and follow-up commitments.
- Build long-term account value through renewal conversations, additional services, and exceptional follow-through.
- Represent Smokin Burrow with professionalism, urgency, honesty, and ownership.
- Bring solutions—not just problems—and take responsibility for helping customers and teammates win.
