Per Diem Pharmacist Opportunity – Retail Setting
A high-volume retail pharmacy in Northern California is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care on a per diem basis. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with recent hands-on experience who is confident managing a fast-paced clinical environment.
Location:
- Grenada, CA (with coverage needed in Yreka, CA)
Schedule:
- October 26, 27
- November 9, 10, 11, 12, 13
- Hours: 9 AM to 6 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and dispense 400–500 prescriptions daily in a busy retail pharmacy
- Provide patient counseling and medication reviews to ensure safe use
- Manage inventory and compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy software to process prescriptions efficiently
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to optimize therapeutic outcomes
Qualifications:
- Current California Pharmacist License required
- Recent experience working as a Retail Pharmacist preferred
- Comfortable working in a high-volume pharmacy environment
- Proficient in pharmacy management software; experience with PioneerRx is a plus
