Role Description The Team Leader & Lea Ciuffeur role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Santa Barbara, CA, with some work-from-home flexibility depending on business needs. In this role, the individual will lead and coordinate front-of-house or event teams, assign and monitor tasks, and ensure service standards are consistently met. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing guest-facing activities, supporting team members during busy periods, resolving guest concerns promptly, and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere. The role may also involve coordinating schedules, assisting with training new staff, communicating updates to management, and providing feedback to improve service procedures and guest satisfaction.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including supervising small teams, delegating tasks, and providing coaching and feedback.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and management.

  • Organizational and time-management skills to oversee multiple tasks, events, or service areas simultaneously.
  • \n

  • Problem-solving skills and sound judgment to handle guest issues, operational challenges, and unexpected situations calmly.
  • \n

  • Ability to work on-site in Santa Barbara, CA, with flexibility for hybrid work as needed, including evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on business demands.
  • \n

  • Previous experience in hospitality, events, or a service-oriented environment is preferred.
  • \n

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education in hospitality or management is a plus.
  • \n
