The firm is known for steady work, long-term client relationships, and a collaborative internal culture where technical quality matters.

This is an opportunity for a detail-oriented drafter who enjoys producing clean, well-coordinated construction documents and working closely with engineers throughout all phases of design. The team values clarity, organization, and accountability, and they are looking for someone who takes pride in doing the work right the first time.

  • Prepare structural construction documents from design development through final permit and construction issue
  • Draft plans, details, and sections for structural systems including concrete, steel, wood, and masonry
  • Coordinate with engineers to translate calculations and design intent into buildable drawings
  • Update drawings based on markups, redlines, and jurisdictional comments
  • Maintain drawing standards and support internal QA/QC efforts
  • Collaborate with other disciplines as needed to resolve clashes and coordination issues

What They Are Looking For

  • Experience as a structural drafter in a consulting engineering environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD required, Revit experience is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with typical structural details, framing plans, and schedules
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with engineers
  • Associate degree or technical drafting background preferred, but practical experience is valued
