Role Description This is a full-time, Construction Estimator role based in Los Angeles, CA. The Construction Estimator will review project plans and specifications, prepare detailed quantity take-offs, and develop accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects. Daily responsibilities include analyzing public works projects, preparing estimates and bid documents, analyzing subcontractor and vendor proposals, updating budgets and cost projections, and coordinating with project managers to track cost changes. The role also involves maintaining estimating documentation, participating in bid reviews, and communicating clearly with internal teams and external partners to support informed decision-making.

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs to prepare accurate bids and cost breakdowns.
- Candidates should possess skills in Cost Management and Budgeting to develop, monitor, and adjust project budgets effectively.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with project teams, vendors, and clients.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Experience in Public works construction estimating.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
