Job Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler / Stockroom Kitting Associate to support material handling, inventory, and kitting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Kitting involves gathering and organizing related components into complete sets to support production.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling small and delicate components, maintaining accurate inventory records, and preparing materials for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, kit, and stage materials for production
- Handle small and delicate components with care
- Organize and maintain stockroom inventory
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock control
- Track materials using MRP and inventory systems
- Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and accounted for
- Report inventory discrepancies or damaged materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications
- Experience in material handling, stockroom, kitting, or inventory preferred
- EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) experience preferred, but not required
- General familiarity with MRP systems and inventory software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable handling small and delicate components
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
