Snapshot / Role Overview

We're looking for a Piping Project Manager in Orange County to lead major mechanical construction projects, delivering piping, HVAC, boiler, and chiller scopes on time and within budget.

Impact

• Own the full lifecycle of large piping and mechanical projects.
• Be the primary contact for owners, general contractors, and inspectors on HCAI-regulated healthcare facilities.
• Hold tight cost control across labor, material, subcontracts, and equipment.
• Protect margin with proactive change order management.

Responsibilities

• Manage piping, boiler, chiller, and HVAC projects from preconstruction through final acceptance.
• Maintain schedules, budgets, and cost control logs.
• Process submittals, RFIs, and change orders in Bluebeam.
• Procure long-lead piping equipment, chillers, and boilers, and administer subcontracts.
• Coordinate with HCAI inspectors and enforce code compliance.

Must-Haves

• Project management of large commercial piping or mechanical construction.
• Experience with HCAI or OSHPD healthcare requirements.
• Strong procurement and subcontract administration.

Nice-to-Haves

• Field background in pipefitting.
• Central plant project experience.

Compensation and Logistics
