Microelectronics & RF/Microwave Assembly and Soldering Associate
Job Description
Job Description
Are you passionate about micro-precision craftsmanship and advanced electronic hardware? We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Microelectronics & RF/Microwave Assembly Associate to join our production team.
In this role, you will work at the cutting edge of RF and microwave hardware manufacturing. You will be responsible for building, soldering, and tuning intricate high-frequency assemblies using high-magnification stereo microscopes and fine hand tools. If you have exceptional hand dexterity, steady attention to detail, and experience navigating both micro-soldering processes and RF test benches, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Precision Micro-Assembly: Perform fine-pitch assembly and microelectronic fabrication under a stereo microscope for up to 8 hours daily with steady focus and high accuracy.
- Specialized Soldering: Execute high-reliability soldering processes across various solder alloys, including high-temperature, low-temperature, and Gold-Tin (AuSn) eutectic solder profiles.
- Tool Handling: Safely and skillfully operate ultra-fine hand tools, including micro-soldering irons, high-precision tweezers, micro-blades, torque drivers, and micro-screwdrivers.
- RF/Microwave Tuning & Alignment: Support RF/microwave component assembly, tuning, and alignment to achieve tight electrical specifications.
- Test & Calibration Support: Set up, calibrate, and operate benchtop RF test equipment, including Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Signal Generators, and Oscilloscopes.
- Documentation & Blueprint Adherence: Read, interpret, and follow engineering assembly drawings, outline drawings, electrical schematics, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Defect Identification & Troubleshooting: Visually inspect micro-joints and wire/ribbon placements, identify structural or mechanical anomalies, and logically troubleshoot assembly or RF test failures.
- Quality & ESD Compliance: Maintain cleanroom or ESD-safe workstation protocols and adhere strictly to industry quality and reliability standards (e.g., IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 / MIL-STD-883).
