Job Title: Production Technician
Job Description
We are seeking Production Technicians to support the assembly, configuration, and testing of customer-specific medical system racks. This position is responsible for assembling integrated hardware systems, routing and installing cables, verifying product functionality, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble medical system racks using wiring diagrams, schematics, port maps, and work instructions.
- Route, install, and secure cables, harnesses, and electronic components.
- Configure and verify system components according to customer requirements.
- Perform quality inspections throughout the production process.
- Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities as needed.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet production schedules.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and manufacturing efficiencies.
Essential Skills
- Electrical assembly and assembly line experience.
- At least 1 year of manufacturing, production, or assembly experience.
- Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, port maps, or work instructions.
- Experience with cable routing, wiring, harness assembly, or electronic component installation.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Electromechanical assembly experience.
- Medical device manufacturing experience.
- Troubleshooting and testing experience.
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience with manufacturing documentation and quality records.
- ERP or production tracking system experience.
- Exposure to regulated industries (medical device, aerospace, electronics).
- Soldering experience.
- Understanding of low-voltage electrical systems.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of RICHMOND, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $24.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
