A globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA is seeking the Engineering Program Manager to join their Applied Research & Characterization team. This role will help drive human factors research (biomechanic and anthropometric) efforts and will work hand-in-hand with a diverse team of world-class researchers and engineers to help take future generations of their products to the next level.

Job Description:
\n
Lead human factors research efforts, managing and tracking development schedules.
\n
Identify and prioritize project tasks and risks, driving multi-functional teams, integrating their deliverables and schedules into the project.
\n
Regularly communicate status and give a comprehensive picture to the project team as well as leadership.
\n
Synchronize project milestones throughout the development process.
\n
\n
Key Requirements:
\n
\n
• BS BME/ME/EE degree required (or equivalent in relevant engineering field); MS preferred
\n
• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience
\n
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
\n
• Experience in setting up project work plans and schedules
\n
• Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams to drive closure of technical issues
\n
• Experience identifying and directing resources required to implement successful projects
\n
\n

Type: Contract

Duration: 9 months with extension
\n
Work Location: Cupertino, CA (hybrid/onsite)

Pay rate: $74.00 - $89.00/hr (DOE)
